We are hiring Soil technicians for a laundry warehouse 1. Sorts/Shakes and prepares laundry for processing and distributes laundry as directed, performing any combination of duties such as; opens bundles of soiled laundry, places bundles onto conveyor belt or drops down chute for distribution to marking and classification sections. 2. Fastens identification pins or clips onto laundry to facilitate subsequent assembly of customers' orders. 3. Sorts net bags containing clean wash instructions according to customers' identification tags. 4. Operates power switch to load and unload linen dumping transport machine, when necessary. 5. Operates power hoist to load and unload washing machines and extractors, when necessary. 6. Ability to adhere to all safety practices. Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times. 7. Ability to stand more than 8 hours per day and remain swift for extended period of time. 8. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned 9. Receives linens and operates linen feeder by feeding linens into sheet or towel iron folders and table linen ironer machines. 10. Sort and maintain a constant flow of linens for the laundry facility to feed and process in a timely manner. 11. Prepares laundry for processing and distributes laundry, performing any combination of following duties: keep orders separate when feeding linens. 12. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
