We’re so excited you might consider mentoring! Mentorship Service is truly meaningful and will last a lifetime for Habitat families. The first step is to attend this training to learn and explore mentorship to decide if it’s for you! The training will explain your role, mentoring guidelines and more about this short-term experience. If you agree to be a mentor, two mentors are then assigned to each homeowner partner. Mentors and partners will attend a MEET UP where introductions of mentors/partners will be made. Service as a mentor is generally 4-6 months as an advocate, resource, and partner to these new excited families. Training and information you need will all be provided to reach successful outcomes for qualified homeowners. You’ll decide how to best stay in touch with your family partner as needed. Finally, you’ll agree to attend and report on your family at the Family Services meeting once/month on the 1st Tuesday/5:30/ZOOM.
