Description

Sweet female gerbil to new home. We got her from Petco when my son's dog passed away last year to help him through his grief and now she needs to find a new home to love her. The pros... She is ok being held, but would do better if handled more. She has never biten and comes up to the glass to say hi all the time. She is a hoot to watch in her wheel as she loves to run so fast then stop and, well you can wait and see 😉 Things to note. (1)She MUST stay in a glass cage, a metal one is not appropriate for her. Luckily she comes with one. (2)she chews on EVERYTHING so no plastic tubes or anything that can hurt her when she eats it. She currently has a bunch of wood and special pinecones that she is working on. (3) she loves her from wheel, but because of her lil feet, chewing habits and her acrobatics she need this style wood one. When it gets too dirty a new one is $25 on amazon. (4) unlike hampster gerbils don't have that unbearable smell! So the cage only needs to be cleaned every few weeks. Yay! Lol The con, she chews at all hours. Unfortunately, this meant she couldn't be in my son's room because she would wake him up, so she went into the front room but we homeschool and she is distracting. Which is why we are rehoming her. My son hyper-focuses on that noise and so he finally made the hard choice to let her go to a new family. I am asking a $100 rehoming fee because I want to make sure she won't go to someone that wants a feeder, and because that cage itself is worth more. She will come with the cage, water, extra bedding and food.
