Description
I'm looking for a local to invest $20,000 in my company for 10% equity investment (or a private equity loan, terms tbd). This is an actual, novel idea with an estimated $25million first-year revenue (no, it isn't a t-shirt or water bottle company, despite the photo from a former company I owned)
I am currently pursuing manufacturing agreements with major manufacturers, and plan to set up a headquarters in the Tampa area.
I need your investment for the following:
1. Hire patent attorneys to ensure the patent is broad, strong, and issued.
2. Organize a Florida S-Corporation and banking partner
3. Finalize the product design and submit prototypes to manufacturing, retail (buyers, etc.), and licensing partners.
4. Set up the Kickstarter and guerrilla marketing campaign (using local talent)
You might wonder why I'm looking here instead of the local venture circles. The answer is simple: I have worked with professional venture capital firms and private equity in the past and I do not wish to reenter that pit of vipers. They want everything for nothing and only care about the exit strategy. This time, I want to find someone local that cares about growing a business from the ground up, and would also like to benefit the community while doing so. A neighbor is the ideal investor!
