They deserve life! Mcacc shelter is beyond capacity! Both of us will be euthanized at County shelter September 9/9, 6:00 PM!! We’ve done nothing wrong! We are dog friendly too (read below). We were placed on the E-list because we are STRUGGLING in our kennel! We shouldn't have to die for this! And the people running the MCACC shelter will euthanize us on time!! My owners surrendered me…not sure why. They said: good with young kids (3yr. old and baby). Did well with dog my size, crate and potty trained, knew “sit”, “lay” and “back up”, and liked frisbees. I have been at the shelter since June 2022, and I’m now pacing and stress panting because I can no longer tolerate shelter life. I am easy to handle, walk-well on-leash; and with familiar people, I am affectionate, give “kisses” and like petting. I “sit for treats and take them gently. I would do best with slow, repeated introductions to other pets in your home. Please come meet me tomorrow and bring the entire family! I want to live!! HERCULES (ID #A4755497) I’m 2-year-old, neutered, gray/white American Pit Bull Terrier (62 lbs.). I’m a handsome Bluenose Pittie that came to the shelter as a stray. Sadly, my owners never came to take me home! I am very friendly, come when called, lean in for pets and scratches and like to be close. I take treats nicely and may be potty trained. I am very stressed/frustrated, and I’m now jumping and bounding off the kennel walls. I’ve been good with other dogs when they are in play yards next to mine. If you have dogs, I will need SLOW, supervised introductions. It is always best if I meet the entire family before going home. Please come tomorrow!! If you wait, I won’t get a chance to live!!
