Food Scrap Collection & Processing for Compost $13/hr We are currently revitalizing our food scrap collection program and now is the prime time to be part of the solution! Our food scrap program collects organic recyclables from local eco-conscious restaurants and other businesses. Our food scrap team leads on the front lines of sustainability by collecting from, managing, and developing relationships with companies that are working to create a sustainable Albuquerque. This position will assist our Organics Waste Collections Manager with the day-to-day operations of collecting and processing food scraps and other organics waste throughout the Albuquerque Metro area. Additionally, the ideal candidate will help the Collections Manager in identifying and solving system challenges, and occasionally assist the compost production team with managing compost and soils. **Responsibilities** Driving a box truck Collection, emptying, and cleaning of compost containers Checking for and separating non-compostables Engaging with clients and potential clients Communicating with clients regarding Soilutions Mission and Goals **Requirements** Clean Driving Record and Valid Driver’s License Ability to lift 50lbs regularly Ability to manage (tilt, roll, and dump) 400lb+ compost carts Attention to detail Clear communication skills Dedication to safety This is an all season, outdoor job that requires sitting, standing, lifting, and repetitive motion in all weather conditions. Pay and Benefits Medical, 401k (matching) after 90 days.
