Information needed.

Hi,I'm unsure of how this post will be accepted or even the outcomung of it...I will put this as short as I can..I am confined to my house because of my chronic arthritis in my legs and knees...I need help..Is there a group or organization who could possibly help me to get a mobility scooter? I really need to get out of this house.My landlord has added on a ramp for me as well...I have Doctor's and community workers from Centra Home Health who will verify any info needed..As I've been told my insurance won't cover it because my doorways are not wide enough to fit the scooter...doesn't make any sense to me.,I would appreciate any help Thank You
