Cherokee Recovery Village is a 501c3 nonprofit charity helping sober and recovering addicts and families get their lives back. Recovery “service” volunteer opportunities... BIG Project “homing the sober homeless” come help build pallet cabins and bring a sober homeless friend to help build their own 12x12 cabin with porch. text Paul if interested. Cherokee Recovery Village is a nonprofit 501c3 recovery Village with a sober lounge, courtyard, two live music stages (indoor and outdoor), health/wellness product vending booths, opportunities for artists and crafters and we have a bunkhouse with small private rooms for temporary stays. We have a meditation fishpond fountain, large bonfire drum circle pit and weekly NA, AA and SMART Recovery meetings but want more volunteers to bring support groups, yoga, meditation classes, sober singles activities, divorce support and other recovery oriented meetings to the village. If you are active in recovery and/or have to complete court ordered community service hours and have a desire to host a 12 step or recovery activity, music, art, yoga, meditation etc then we are here to support your desire to be of service to others.
