Construction Laborer/Carpenter - EXPERIENCED concrete workers, carpenters, laborers and water and wastewater piping installation for a project in Grand Island, NE. Job duties include but are not limited to: manual labor, heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds), concrete formwork, pipe installations, dirt work, etc. Some tools, basic concrete or carpentry skills and prior experience are required. Job Description Join the Building Crafts Team! • Form slabs, walls, and structural slabs, set and install equipment, install below and above ground ductile iron and PVC pipe, as well as miscellaneous metals. • Operate construction tools and/or equipment. • Assist equipment operators, carpenters, craft workers, and other skilled labor when necessary. • Prep construction sites by removing obstacles and hazards. • Load and unload construction materials. • Assemble and disassemble temporary structures, such as scaffolding. • Remove, fill, or compact earth. • Follow instructions and learn from on-the-job training when necessary. • Perform site clean-up. All applicants for any position must be willing to perform other duties as needed, including willingness to travel if applicable to project.
