***This is a FREE event*** NorthWest Senior and Disability Services (NWSDS) is inviting you to join us at our special event where presenters will speak about their programs and volunteer opportunities. We are a local intergovernmental agency providing services and programs to seniors and people with disabilities in the counties of Clatsop, Marion, Polk, Tillamook, and Yamhill. Volunteer and make a difference! Our programs include: • SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM Prepare, package, and deliver food to seniors in need • SENIOR PEER MENTORING Help individuals cope with anxiety and/or depression • SENIOR HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Assist seniors with finding the best Medicare plan • OREGON MONEY MANAGEMENT Help at-risk adults manage their money • ADVISORY COUNCIL Advocate for the senior and disabled communities • HEALTH PROMOTION AND FALL PREVENTION PROGRAM Instruct a course to help manage the health of others • EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM Help those in need during an emergency or disaster You must register for this event.
