Local Brand Ambassador for Healthy Snack Food Company

Fast-growing healthy snack food company is seeking an energetic, friendly and reliable brand ambassador / demo specialist to manage taste-testing demonstrations in Boston and surrounding areas. Must be passionate about food, nutrition, and enjoy interacting with people. Previous experience with brand representation preferred. This role is for a self-starter who is energetic, collaborative, organized and wants to have a big impact at a fast-growing company. Our culture is fun, collaborative and team oriented. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 15-20 hours per month. In your response, please include a resume & summary of professional history. Responsibilities include: Represent brand at sampling events at grocery stores and local events Prepare and hand out samples to customers with adherence to food safety Develop and maintain relationships with store personnel Set up sampling station, including table set up and clean up Capture photos & videos of sampling events for usage in company social channels Visit stores to ensure proper merchandising of products Record sales, consumer questions and send in reports after events Requirements: Previous brand representation or sales experience preferred Confident, friendly and enthusiastic. Very comfortable talking to people Must be able to work on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays during the day - with some weekday availability as well Must be able to stand for 4-8 hours Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to and from retail locations Must be able to lift up to 20 or 25lbs, including a fold-up demo table, etc. Dates: As soon as possible, through timeframe TBD Hours: 15-20 hours per month (needs will change during holidays) Compensation: $20/hour+ depending on experience
