Rapoza Landscape in Falmouth is seeking Construction and Landscape Laborers. We offer a free shuttle to the Cape daily from New Bedford. Our pay range is $20-$22/hour. We also offer $3/hour additional in attendance incentives (conditions apply). We service residential customers with property values exceeding one million dollars. We have high standards as do our clients. All employees must pass a background check, have a valid MA Driver's license that is incident-free for three years and provide two professional references (someone who can tell us what a great worker you are). If interested, call (508)540-4328 or apply on our website at Rapoza.com Position Summary This associate performs basic landscape maintenance, garden, and/or construction tasks while following standard Rapoza work methods and practicing safe work habits to provide quality service to our clients. This position is under the direction of a Crew Leader. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Adhere to instructions given by the Crew Leader, or the Crew Leader in Training when the Crew Leader is absent. Participate in the work performed at each job site, including mowing, trimming, planting, watering, pruning, mulching, etc. Dig holes and trenches as necessary for work completion. Communicate observations and concerns to the Crew Leader. Maintain high standard of quality of all work performed. Follow proper safety procedures and standards on a regular basis. Participate in all necessary Rapoza training with relation to equipment and safety. Arrive for each work day on time and prepared, including dressed in the appropriate Rapoza uniform. Requirements: * Ability to follow instructions given by the Crew Leader. Ability to participate in a team environment and work well with other Crew Members. Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines. Demonstrate a willingness to learn Rapoza standards and procedures for work completion. Demonstrate a commitment to safety and practicing safe work behaviors. Demonstrate accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule. Ability to lift 80 lbs. on occasion, and frequently transport plant material around the job site up to 50 lbs. Physical requirements also include lifting, bending, walking, carrying, and pushing (i.e. lawnmower) on a repetitive basis. Willingness to work outdoors in various whether conditions. May require evening and weekend work in response to client needs and deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
