Merit Homes Inc, Kirkland's favorite home builder, is hiring! We are looking for a hard working, dedicated worker with an upbeat attitude that will grow with our company. Core Tasks: • Construction Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor • Lifting, Digging, cleaning, organizing, sweeping • Packing lumber • Installing drain systems around foundations • Sanding and staining, touch up painting • Covering counters and cabinets • Grading to prep for concrete flatwork • Other tasks depending on skills and as directed Knowledge & Skills: • Prior Construction experience a plus! • Ambition, strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn • Give full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand points being made, ask questions as appropriate • Communicate effectively • Organized • Reliable • Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team • Be self-motivated and solve problems effectively • Solve problems within his or her authority • Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job • Must be able to pass a background check • Must have driver’s license, own vehicle, cell phone At Merit Homes, our most valuable resources are our people.
