The Preferred Group is seeking general and specialized labor for multiple divisions. Positions available include carpentry, finish/trim carpentry, roofing repair, drywall hanger, drywall finisher and painter. We are looking for skilled labor in multiple trades working in our Builder (GC), Commercial & Residential Drywall, and Roofing divisions. Apprentice positions are available for minimally qualified applicants that are wanting to learn a trade and develop long term skills in a growing construction industry. The Preferred Group has been doing business in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas since 1972. We are a family owned business located on Jacksonville’s Northside. Requirements Include: 🟢Valid driver's license & transportation 🟢Timeliness and commitment to working the established schedule 🟢Good physical health 🟢Willingness to work outdoors in the elements 🟢Good communication skills and presence in front of customers 🟢The ability to work with others and follow directions This is a 40 hour per week position with options for overtime.
