Join us part time at Winter Services were hiring for the following positions Machine Operator (no DL or drug test required) Salt/Plow Driver (Driver’s License, DOT Exam, Drug Test required) Walkcrew Leader (Driver’s License, DOT Exam, Drug Test required) Snow Techs (no DL or drug test required) Dispatch (no DL or drug test required) As a Machine Operator (Backhoe, Loader or Skid-steer) you will be responsible for safely operating our equipment and clearing snow during snowstorms. As a Sidewalk Crew Leaders, you will be responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal. Including driving a Box Truck if needed and operating Plow ATV’s, trucks, snow blowers, and salt spreader as needed. As a Sidewalk Snow Tech, you will be responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal, including operating ATV plows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders. You will work with Sidewalk-Crew Leaders as a team to efficiently and safely complete each assignment. We emphasize high-quality service. The dispatcher is the first person to talk with our Snow Warriors, the one who schedules jobs, and the one who provides Snow Techs and Warriors with all the information they will need out in the field. Dispatchers are called in before the storm to help us gather the troops. Dispatchers are the first to arrive and are often the last to leave. You may be a good fit if you have: - Reliable transportation to and from any work site - Physically able to work outside, sometimes in extreme weather conditions - Ability to remove snow, sometimes for several hours at a time - Ability to communicate effectively - 18 years of age or older - Be able to lift, push, or carry 50 to 60 pounds without restriction - Work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines - You must attend and pass training and a background check - Able to lawfully work in the USA - Willing to dress appropriately for all weather conditions Winter Services a branch of Brightview’s Snow Services Division the Tri State areas premier Snow & Ice Management Branch is seeking Seasonal Snow Workers to service our Clients Northern, Central and Southern NJ locations. Our services include snow plowing, sidewalk clearing, salting and deicing, snow hauling, and snow removal using the latest technology and strategies in the snow and ice removal industry for corporate clients. Our shifts are on-call and range from 6 to 12 hours and are often overnight depending on the storm event. May require longer hours for larger storms. The season starts on the first snow fall.
