Researchers at Marymount Manhattan College are conducting a study examining the experience of friendship throughout adulthood. The goal of this research is to develop an understanding of how life events during adulthood influence communication and closeness between friends. TO PARTICIPATE, YOU MUST: Identify as male. Be between 30-50 years old. Be able to speak English. Must have (or have had) a close friendship with another person (of any gender) during your adult years. WHERE? The interview can be conducted over phone or Zoom. WHAT WILL HAPPEN? Participation involves a one-on-one interview that will be audiotaped and will last approximately 1 hour.
