Looking for a retired senior who plays bass guitar for a start up band to play classic rock n roll songs from 1950s-70, Elvis Beatles, Stones, Beach boys, various other artists etc Please read this entire post for details to avoid wasting your time responding to a musical project you have no real interest in If you can sing it is a plus but if you can’t it’s ok. If you haven’t played in a band in years but still can play bass, and looking to get back into playing with others again, feel free to reply. The plan is to rehearse weekly or bi weekly in a studio on weekdays during the day. I receive many responses from people who do not read the details of the entire posting, and they wind up wasting their time and mine with back and forth emails. To avoid this I am requesting responses only from those who 1. are willing to rehearse regularly in a studio 2. aren’t still working, retired without family commitments everyday which makes scheduling rehearsals difficult 3. are not looking for an established band which is already playing in public If you do respond please provide your name, direct email, telephone # and where you live.
