The Legacy Academy Activity Center in Fitchburg, Wisconsin (a Madison suburb) is a highly regarded indoor youth playground designed for children up to twelve years of age. Among our programs offered are kids birthday parties and open gym play sessions. The academy's owner is seeking one or two responsible persons at least 16 years old to assist with the operation of these programs. These are good part-time jobs for college students or mature high school students. The work tasks include collecting customer fees due, helping party hosts display decorations, and cleaning after open gym sessions and birthday parties. The dress code may be described as "casual nice". There is frequently time available during birthday parties to read, study, or surf the web. The available work shifts are as follows. Saturdays from 3:00 pm to about 11:30 pm; and/or Tuesdays from 2:00 pm (or 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm) to about 8:00 pm; and/or Thursdays from 2:00 pm (or 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm) to about 8:00 pm. The pay for these positions is $13.00 per hour. Paychecks are direct deposited into the staff person's bank account on the 1st day and 15th day of each month. For the safety of coworkers and our customers, the academy does require that employees be vaccinated or become vaccinated against Covid-19. This may occur during the month following hire. The successful job applicant will ideally have a driver's license and his/her own vehicle for transport to work since the academy is not located on a bus line. The academy is located near the AMC theater in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Knowing Spanish is also a plus.
