Description
Large mobile home park is hiring for a general contractor to help with landscaping/mowing, power washing, painting and light rehab work. Ideal candidate is trainable or knowledgeable in sub floor repair, day to day fixes such as water leaks, changing out faucets, toilet rebuild or installs, drywall repair/mudding, etc. This position is paid as a 1099 so no taxes are taken out, you are an independent contractor with this position.
Hours are part time between 15-30 depending on work load. We will consider weekend work hours for exterior work and rehab work on empty units. Pay starts at $10-13 an hour based on experience, please keep in mind there's about a $2.00 difference is you were being taxed compared to non- taxed. Example- as an employee making $15.00 an hour being taxed, it is comparable to being an independent contractor making $13.00 an hour non taxed, and there are many tax deductions/write offs you can claim as an independent contractor.
