SUMMARY: Assists with the installation of plumbing pipe, valves, fittings and fixtures. Works in a variety of construction areas under direction. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Assisting the Plumber in ensuring that all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing regulations. Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job. Repairing or replacing pipes and parts. Assisting with measuring, cutting and joining. Cleaning up the job site after work is complete. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Be able to continuously bend, stretch, kneel and climb as necessary. Must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds of material on a continuous basis and able to do overhead work for long durations. Health compatible for jobsite conditions including mobilizing in trenches and in sandy conditions. Able to work in 90+ degree heat daily. Being comfortable when working in confined spaces or at great heights.
