E2 Day is all about helping local businesses comply with environmental regulations. Come and enjoy a day designed to keep everyone connected with services and resources to help keep Central Florida's businesses in compliance with environmental laws. Check-in begins at 8:30 and training presentations start at 9 am. A Few of the Training Topics Planned: Hazardous Waste ManagementStorage Tanks Compliance and Top Violations FoundDetermining the Origins of Nitrate Pollution in Central Florida WatersSolid Waste Regulations and Recycling Requirements for Commercial Businesses5 Professional Development Hours will be offered for Professional Engineers Regulatory agency personnel, contractors, consultants, and industry representatives from around Florida will be in attendance. E2 Day is intended for anyone who owns property, operates equipment, manages buildings or site operations, purchases raw materials, disposes of waste, designs or builds stormwater ponds, responds to spills, or any other activity that requires compliance with environmental protection or permitting laws. If we don't cover it, there will likely be someone available to answer questions about your particular situation. Typical Questions About this Event: Will free parking be available? Yes, parking will be free for this event if you park in the Library parking lot or the Parking garage across Harper Street Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
