We love to play parties and events! We have 2 professional bands with all the necessary equipment, each band a little different, but both guaranteed to get your party grooving. Dirk Debonaire and the Golden Nuggets is a 4 piece band (www.dirkdebonaire.com) mainly oldies with some funk and originals. We have been around for 4 years and have played, or still play, the 1st Sat Art Walk in Kapaa, the Paniolo, Johnny's, several benefits and food drives, Robs, Trees, and others. We have the Hanalei Sandcastle Contest coming up on Sept 10 then the Koloa Night Market on Sept 17th. Our 2nd band is Da Funk (www.dafunkkauai.com) playing all funk, disco, soul and Motown dance music. It's a 5 piece with a female singer. This band is newer but really gets people dancing. You may have caught us at the Kapaa Art Walk, the Paniolo or at Anahola Marketplace among other venues. You can catch us at the Paniolo this Weds, Sept 7th. It's a Vegas-style show band with costumes. We charge a sliding scale, depending on the party or event, and our prices are very reasonable. We just love playing and entertaining people and having fun, and it's not just about the money. We have a few Saturday's still open in November and December 2022 and will start booking 2023 shortly.
