The event will provide you with better understanding of cultural linguistics and challenges Latinos in Lucas County experience when seeking mental health services. Through our event you will be able identify at least 2 culturally specific protective factors to help them cope/deal with mental health crisis. We will increase awareness, knowledge and understanding of the many cultural values in the Latino culture. You will also have a better understanding of barriers and challenges Latinos in Lucas county experience when seeking mental health services. Speaker–Louis Guardiola Jr. MSW MSW, LICDC-CS, LSW Diversity Trainer & Social Worker Panelist - Rosario Sanchez , Dr. Hinojosa , Guisselle Mendoza McDonald and Arturo Ordonez Parking will be identified by NAMI Forum signs.Coffee/light snack will in the morning and lunch will be provided for the afternoon.CEU's Provided
