Machine Operator – Food Manufacturing Status: hourly, OT eligible Shift: days; NO WEEKENDS, hours can vary; may finish late some evenings, especially during busy season; overtime available Location: Chesterton Street, Boston - FREE PARKING Comp: $20/hour and available overtime and great benefits Boston Salads is an innovative creator of fresh, healthy salads and deli entrees for the New England region with Boston locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follows blending and mixing procedures as outlined in product formulation • Responsible for documenting all process and productivity information • Assists new employees and trainees in learning proper methods and procedures in areas • Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work practices, tools and areas • Must maintain and comply with all HAACP, OSHA, USDA, SSOP, SQF and GMP requirements • Others duties as assigned/needed REQUIREMENTS: • Authorized to work in the US • Must be able to work long days during busy period • Will train; experience working in a refrigerated environment a plus • English or Portuguese speaker preferred • Boston Salads requires pre-employment and random drug screening - must be able to pass - please do not apply if you cannot pass WORK CONDITIONS: • Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks • Refrigerated environment; wet environment • Handling heavy loads; lifting 50 pounds several times a day Please email resume to: [email protected] or visit 26 Chesterton Street, Boston, to complete an application.
