TUCSON, AZ — Tucson police are investigating after a man died in a car crash early Monday morning, the department said. According to the Tucson Police Department, the single-car crash occurred at the intersection of Fort Lowell Road and Dodge Boulevard. Sgt. Richard Gradillas, a spokesperson for the department, advised Tucsonians to avoid the area as the investigation continues. TRAFFIC ALERT Please avoid the intersection of N. Dodge Blvd. and E. Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash, though Gradillas confirmed in a news release that excessive speed appeared to be a factor. The investigation remains ongoing.
