The church intends to help. We want to bring hope and offer practical solutions. But what happens when our words, our encouragement, and our help is taken as trite, nongenuine, invalidating, or worse yet - traumatizing? What happens when our helping, actually hurts, and what can we do to prevent harm? Join us, as we share real stories of when helping hurts, and what we can do to bring hope instead. Breakfast is provided, but registration is required.
