For more than 30 years, during the month of September, communities, and local organizations from across the country host celebrations in honor of the National Recovery Month observation. These activities take many forms that bring public attention to recovery and challenge negative attitudes, stigma, and discrimination. Join Thriving United as we host Midland's Big Texas Rally for Recovery 2022 with food, games, children's fun zone and a great celebration. Thriving United Inc is a 501 c (3) organization. It was formed to assist people with the marginalized illnesses of substance use disorder, mental illness, eating disorders, HIV, and homelessness which make up 1/3 of our national population. Thriving United Inc meets people where they are, connects people to Recovery, and joins them on their journey.
