CCAR Industries’ first annual Lincoln Lap 3K Fun Run & Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 9:00 am. Our scenic, Lincoln-themed run will start on the uptown square and will take you down the historic residential streets of Charleston, Illinois. For those who move at a different pace, you can walk or roll through the fall foliage as you view our guide to the historic sites. Feel free to wear your fanciest bonnets and finest top hats during and after your stroll or purchase some Lincoln Log Cabin merchandise from one of our volunteers. Our run will end in front of City Hall where you can join our community on square. Browse wares from local merchants, purchase food or beverages from the food trucks, socialize with other community members, or enjoy a few free games and entertainment. REGISTER IN ADVANCE HERE: https://form.jotform.com/221216152709146 Run pre-registrants and those registering the morning of the run can pick-up their packets at City Hall starting at 7:00 am. Advance registration is $20 per person and will include a commemorative medal and “swag bag” filled with fun merchandise. Registration on the day of the run is $25. Please note that medals are only guaranteed for those who register in advance. All proceeds from CCAR’s 3K Lincoln Lap Fun Run/Walk assist CCAR Industries with the cost of providing services to over 300 children and adults with developmental disabilities who we serve in our community and surrounding counties. While several individuals receive funding from the State of Illinois, their funding doesn't fully cover the cost of providing year-round services or the on-going cost of maintenance and updates to our property and equipment. We are SO EXCITED that our Lincoln Lap gives us the opportunity to raise funds while offering a great opportunity for the community to have fun! QUESTIONS?
