Bailey & Sons Upholstery in Martinez is seeking an entry-level applicant to learn the skills needed to become a proficient upholsterer in our residential, automotive, marine and commercial furniture upholstery business. We are looking for someone who is reliable and willing to learn the business.
What you'll be doing:
• Furniture disassembly and reassembly
• Furniture and upholstery repairs
• Fabric and leather upholstery restoration
• Furniture delivery and pickups
• Other duties as assigned by owner
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Position is based in a normal shop environment. Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, lifting above shoulders, standing for long periods of time during the repairs as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
