Description

Cedar Lake REALLY needs cleaning up so we're planning on doing about half of the lake on Sunday, October 23rd from 2:00-3:30 pm. The other half is under construction, so we can't go in that area. We'll be focusing on both sides of the walking/biking trail that goes around the lake (east and south sides of the lake). Cedar Lake is located downtown next to the Sag Wagon (827 Shaver Rd NE). We will meet at a city pavilion just north of the Sag Wagon. The pavilion has restrooms by the parking lot. Details: 1) The City of Cedar Rapids is providing large green garbage bags and gloves. 2) Wear a Class B t-shirt/sweatshirt (if you have one). 3) Optional: bring your own gloves.
