Youʻre invited to join us at our first-of-its-kind, in person, Garden Coordinator Training. The event will be held at Lokelani Intermediate School on Monday, October 3rd from 8am to 3pm and Tuesday, October 4th from 8am to 3pm, where we will cover a broad range of topics across two days, including safety (proper tool use, harvesting protocol, food prep, rat lungworm, etc), classroom management, lesson and curriculum sourcing and planning, compost, irrigation, and more! Lunch will be provided(*please let us know in advance if you require a vegetarian meal). Wear clothing you would normally wear to work in the garden (closed toe shoes, a hat, bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, sunglasses, etc). It will be a mix of both indoor and outdoor learning and activities.
