Rehoming a purebred Presa Canario male, 9 months old intact. Shots up to date except Rabies. He came from Arizona and was a rescue situation, he came to us really underweight. He is a trouble maker and please look into the breed behavior and characteristics. These are not for first time dog owners. He has since put on very good weight and is still learning manners. Best to a family with no small children and no other pets or to at least understand boundaries and that dogs don't need friends. He has had a long history of issue with dogs. We are wanting to find someone willing to work with him and give him more environmental work as well as teaching him leash manners and basic obedience. He is a sweetheart with people and adores affection, needs someone with more time and to not have other dogs in the home. Which I have dogs in the home that have been here for years now. The original plan was for this guy to go back to his breeder I found after saving him from being put down by the in between home that didn't notify the breeder he was sending him to us here in California. He cannot afford to take him back anymore and I am unable to continue housing him, so willing to work with rescues if anyone is interested or if the right and responsible home comes along for him.
