The Petal Social Worker's Conference is being hosted by the Petal Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by Southern Grace Senior Home Care, and done in partnership with the USM School of Social Work. The focus of this event will be to discuss the value of Person-Centered Practices, when dealing with the elderly and disabled population. Covering topics such as Important Concepts of Person Centered Thinking, Charting LifeCourse and Relationship Mapping, and Intersectionality and Culture, our goal is to equip attendees with the knowledge and resources to apply these concepts in their daily work. The featured speakers for this event are Ms. Yolanda Green and Ms. Courtney Williams.
