A beautiful event as we make time to give thanks for the beneficial rains that nourish us and bring life to the earth - the fruits, grains and vegetables that these rains, along with the other forces of nature, produce. Bring all of the following items for the offerings table: • A bunch of fragrant flowers • A selection of whole fruits • A selection of bread or rolls (sweet and/or plain) Plates will be available to put offerings on the table, for those who would like, as well as some vases. Arrive by 11:45 am, as we will be starting at noon, and will be making our offerings first. When this is done we will eat lunch together, and the time for making offerings will be over. Lunch: is provided! We will be eating outdoors. Please also bring: Your own water or beverage in a bottle to you keep hydrated throughout the afternoon. Clothing to fit the weather throughout the afternoon. Family and friends who want to celebrate with us. This is a child-friendly event! Please make sure that each person is registered.
