Convention begins on Friday afternoon, with "A conversation with Diana Butler Bass". Diana Butler Bass, Ph.D., is an award-winning author, popular speaker, inspiring preacher, and one of America’s most trusted commentators on religion and contemporary spirituality. Her most recent book is "Freeing Jesus: Rediscovering Jesus as Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way, and Presence". This conversation will take place at St. Luke's, East Greenwich, beginning at 1:00 pm. The Holy Eucharist of Convention will take place at 7pm, also at St. Luke's. Diana Butler Bass will be the preacher. A small reception will follow. The business meeting of Convention will begin at 9 am, Saturday morning, on Zoom.
