Please join Lakeland Regional Health, the Florida Department of Health in Polk, and Central Florida Healthcare for an in-person education session with Dr. Vadaparampil to discuss the following: • The importance of the HPV vaccine • Discuss the HPV vaccination gap locally and in Florida • Identify practical HPV vaccine recommendations • Describe how a clinic work flow can reduce missed opportunities for the HPV vaccine The session will also be available virtually, on Microsoft Teams. Speaker: Susan Vadaparampil, PhD, MPH Dr. Vadaparampil is the Associate Center Director of Community Outreach, Engagement, and Equity at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has developed patient and provider-focused interventions to address the underutilization of genetic counseling and testing, HPV vaccination, HCV screening, and reproductive health issues for adolescent and young adult patients.
