The Let Them Play baseball club is excited to announce their first affiliate team in Arizona. Let Them Play baseball club was originally founded five years ago in Truckee, California by head coach of the Savannah Bananas premier team and former major leaguer Eric Byrnes. We want to welcome all families and players to our Inaugural season in Arizona. Our Fall program will be tailored towards 8U boys. The Let Them Play baseball club is based out of Phoenix, Arizona and will be led and directed by bench coach for the Savannah Bananas premier team Michael Kowalski and assistant coach / former Frontier League Lake Erie Crushers player Bodie Bryan in the upcoming 2022 Fall season. Our intention is to play every 8U tournament from mid October through mid December in Arizona. Our Mission at Let Them Play Baseball is to provide an environment where kids can develop as young men within a baseball culture were the emphasis is on attitude and effort, not on outcomes. We are looking for (12) players and families to be a part of our Arizona team. One of the aspects that makes our team unique is there are no tryout fees, or team dues. Every tournament we enter has a $50-$75 per player entry fee. Other than the tournament entry fee’s there are no other team dues. ~ TRYOUT FORMAT: • 8:30am - 9am - Check in • 9:05am - 9:30am - Warm up • 9:30am -9:45am - 60 yrd Dash / Base-running • 9:50-10:05- Hitting Warmup (tee work) • 10:05-10:35- Live BP • 10:40-11:40 - Fielding (infield/outfield) ~ FIELD LOCATION: 306 S Jefferson Ave Mesa, AZ 85208 United States *Players will want to bring all of their baseball equipment to tryouts including but not limited to: bat, batting helmet, fielding glove, batting glove, catcher's gear, athletic shoes, baseball cleats, baseball uniform including belt/socks/hat*
