Description

Matching plant selection to site conditions is key in creating a healthy edible or ornamental landscape. Each participant will receive a copy of the new edition of the FFL Plant Selection Guide that shows you sunlight, water, and pH ranges of over 250 plants. This will help you make better decisions in your landscape to minimize use of irrigation, fertilizer, and pest control. The instructor for this class will be Tia Silvasy, Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Agent, with the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Orange County. Please arrive a few minutes before the time for the workshop and walk to the Azalea Class room. There are restrooms located outside for use next to the Plant Clinic. The class fee is $10 per person and includes a copy of the Florida-Friendly Landscaping Guide to Plant Selection and Landscape Design. Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
