Details Benefits: 401k program, medical plans with 100% premium coverage. Wage: $27-29/hour, DOE + leasing bonuses! Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours. This position is offering a $500 hiring bonus! A Day in the Life - Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including but not limited to: minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning. - Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting. - Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner. - Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties. - Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders including, but not limited to, residents, tenants, the Property manager, Portfolio manager, office staff, and vendors. - Complete all work in a timely and professional manner. - Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours requests. Requirements - 3+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training is required. - Familiarity with Washington State and city of Seattle Landlord-Tenant Laws preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent.
