We are looking for; Lacey Glass is seeking a Glazier/Installer, experience is a plus but, you do not need to be proficient in any areas but a quality driven person who is willing to learn will excel at this position. Responsibilities: • Install glass, mirrors, door and window hardware in replacement and new installations. • Table Work (i.e., Cut customers glass/projects in shop, etc.) • Maintains tools/vehicles by completing preventative maintenance requirements. • Maintains safe conditions by following guidelines and procedures. • Training will include glass cutting, installing insulated units, mirrors, shower enclosures etc. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. • Consult with customer regarding their options and solutions. • Gather accurate field measurements and evaluate job requirements. • Provide the customer estimate and/or work with the office support team to provide the estimate in a timely manner. • Must have the ability to work with a team or individually. Qualifications: • Customer service • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills. • Ability to operate power tools and read a measure tape. • Knowledge of mathematics to be able troubleshoot or solve installation issues. • Professionalism. • Able to lift 20-100 lbs. daily. • Passion to work with hands. • Comfortable on ladders/Roofs/Lifts and with heights. • Own tools is a huge plus. • Able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and company goals. • Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. • Some experience in commercial and residential glass but not necessary. • Dependability. • Attention to detail. • MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD! • MUST BE INSURABLE!!
