Hiring a hands-on Crew Leader/ Construction Crew Lead in Seattle Washington. Industry: Residential Landscape Construction - Residential Landscape, design build, maintenance Experienced required. Ideal candidate will: • 5-10 years of construction experience • Understands installing landscape and running the crew • Participatory leader: Want to be able to lead the team by example, build their trust • In the field mostly, but will be in the office if they need to do some desk work or have a meeting • Will have to procure their own materials (paid by the company, but they need to let the office what they need ordered), reporting back to the team • Change orders • Tracking the crews’ hours • Driver’s license REQUIRED • Spanish would be a PLUS Day to day duties: • Residential landscaping o Wood and stone building o Patio, lawn, lighting, irrigation install o Specialty projects o Some metal o Demolition—figuring out how to get the area prepared for the new design o Don’t have to be an expert in every area, but will have to work with the GC and guide them • Responsible for 1 job at a time from start to completion • Usually about 3-4 weeks, around $100K • Train the crew on site—hands on training • Boots on the ground • Doing the installments and physical labor along with their crew • Running the crew—3 people on the crew • Will have architect plan that they will need to go to the site and install • Working directly with project manager and operations manager with scheduling Systems Used: • Landscape Management Network Software (LMN) (experience not required) • MS Office (experience required—excel and word) Hours: M-Th 7am-5:30pm (every Friday off). May have mandatory training on Fridays on occasion Paying: $32-40/hr. plus bonus
