Aanii! Boozhoo! Hello!  On Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2-3 pm, explore the indigenous languages of our neighborhood with local author and co-founder of Ojibwe.net, Stacie Sheldon.  Sheldon is the author of the dual-language (Anishinaabemowin and English) children’s book Bebikaan-Ezhiwebiziwinan Nimkii (The Adventures of Nimkii), starring her real-life dog companion Nimkii.  This FREE family event is for kids of all ages.  Schedule: 2 pm - storytime with Stacie Sheldon and her doggie companion Nimkii2:15 pm - creativity time! Design your own relationship garden with Stacie2:30 pm - relationship garden show and share2:40 pm - friend time! We’ll enjoy some traditional Anishinaabe snacks together, including blueberries and maple treats.If the weather is nice, we’ll meet outside of Booksweet in the courtyard.
