TUSCALOOSA, AL — City of Tuscaloosa officials, in a partnership with the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority (PARA) and the University of Alabama, announced the launch of an online survey to allow locals to give feedback on what they would like to see in terms of improvements to local parks, programs and facilities. He said through Elevate Tuscaloosa, the city will invest millions of dollars in the coming years as part of a transformative effort with respect to Tuscaloosa's park and recreation offerings. She said the survey will consist of a few short close-ended questions, followed by a chance for the participant to write out their thoughts. "Overall we want to make sure any improvements or additions to the facilities are what the residents of Tuscaloosa are interested in seeing," she said during a press conference on Tuesday. Maddox said the results of the survey will be public and, depending on the amount of data received by the city, the hope is to have it released by this summer.
