TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the community's help identifying a truck driver who caused approximately $100,000 in damage to a gas station Wednesday night, resulting in widespread a power outage. TPD says the driver struck a pole that then hit the roof of the Springbrook Chevron at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2020 — starting a small fire and knocking out power to the surrounding area.
