Description
Summary of Duties: Responsible for performing routine custodial tasks; perform general cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions
1. Maintain all interior spaces to standards set by Management and the BOD.
2. Maintain designated outdoor spaces to the standards set by Management and the BOD.
3. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, and rest rooms on a daily basis
4. Keeping the dumpster area free of debris and ensure recycled items are deposited in their proper receptacle.
5. Notify Management of safety concerns.
6. Follow identified cleaning checklist.
7. Ensure proper hygiene supplies are available each day in each restroom.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Must be able to utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe manner.
2. Must be able to use a broom, mop and vacuum cleaner.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to push minimum 20 pounds (power cleaning appliances); ability to lift minimum 25 pounds (trash and supplies).
2. Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as job may require.
CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT REMAINS ON AN "AT-WILL" BASIS. There will be a 90-day probationary period before time off is applied. After one year of satisfactory employment, you will be eligible for a raise.
