My philosophy is "Everything I ever needed to know about business I learned on the sports field." From Behind The Scoreboard, I feature the sports stories that tell us much more than simply who won or lost. These personal and inspiring experiences of grade school, high school, college, other amateur and even pro athletes allow all of us to reflect a little more on what is important in life. ~ James C. He probably makes and takes the most body blows on the New York Rangers. Defenseman Ryan Lindgren also has the most bumps and bruises.
Ryan has created a pro career by handling plays that never make the scoresheet. He provides critical checks, chases the puck across the ice, grinds in the corners and clears the zone even when he ends the play on his backside.
Rangers fans love his kind of blue collar play. While he should be healed completely from last season, no doubt he will earn his first bruise of the season during the first scrimmage of the upcoming training camp. Let’s Go Ryan!
