Original Rock Band Seeks Drummer and Bassist

Rhythm guitarist/singer-songwriter, along with lead guitarist are seeking a Drummer and a Bassist for new original rock band, Influences/likes include The Kinks, Beatles, Big Star, XTC, Stones, The Who, Neil Young, Dylan, Replacements, R.E.M., Radiohead, Elvis Costello, The Clash, Bowie, The Shins, Joni Mitchell, U2, Radiohead, Pixies, The Cult, Rebel Motorcycle Club, amongst many others.  The immediate needs are for a drummer and bass player in order to start fleshing out the songs and deciding which ones to record first.  Backing vocals are a big plus! However, if you play keyboards, by all means get in touch. I put a lot of effort into writing good lyrics. I believe music at it's best should communicate something. The project’s emphasis is on Recording and releasing Original Songs, as well as playing live. The targets are recordings and performances that bring out the individual qualities of each song and create a cohesive band identity. This is a very serious pursuit. I am very open to experimenting and encouraging everyone’s contributions and talents. All ages welcome. Players should be confident to write their own music parts and feel free to contribute any good ideas- I believe the best ideas should be used, regardless of who initiates them. Please be accomplished on your instrument, we have many years of experience playing and recording.
