Description
Keyboard player/vocalist and female vocalist that has worked as a duo would like to add a guitar player to expand the sound and do occasional small gigs. Acoustic guitar would be most suitable. To save us both time, please read the detailed info below to answer a lot of questions so you can choose to or not to respond. Contract us if what you read below is consistent with what you want. Please simply describe yourself, high level of experience. Intermediate to pro level. Keep it basic and simple. No need to see the song list you do or know the bands you played in. No pic exchange needed immediately. We are in our mid 50's. The female vocalist (doesn't play an instrument) is a really nice/talented singer. The keyboard player (that also plays bass) is an intermediate player, sings lead and backups. We do well on all songs we choose as we choose songs that fit our talent level and taste. We are fun, easy going. If you sing, the more the merrier but you don't need to. Info: 1. How frequent will we play - Not every weekend gig. We can be a secondary gig to your primary situation. Works for us. As frequent as we are all in the mood to do. 2. What type of gigs we do - Ideally tap/wine bars, restaurants, retirement homes, private gigs. We prefer the easy to setup and breakdown. Minimal equipment setup and breakdown. 3. Flexibilty - We can to add people as needed. Sax, drums, but no dijeradoo.Sorry! :) 3. Days/hours when we will play - Weekend gigs(friday night, saturday/sunday most times. But we don't do the 9:00 p.m to 1:00 a.m all night gigs. 4. Style of music we do - Rock, country, pop, classic rock, no metal, no jazz, 5. Instrumentation - We can play stripped down with keys and guitar only and/or we can play along to backing drum and bass tracks to add the full sound and beats for people to dance to. A blend of the two works best. 6. An idea of the artist and songs we do but are not limited to include Fleetwood Mac (Dreams, Say That You Love Me), Temptations (My Girl), Dwight Yoakam (Guitars and Cadillacs), The Cure (Just Like Heaven/It's Friday I'm In Love), Cindy Lauper (Time After Time), Adele (Send My Love), Steely Dan (Do It Again), Sugarland (Joey), Brooks and Dunn (Neon Moon), Drifters (Under The Boasdwalk), Pat benatar (We Belong), Motels (Only The Lonely), Lady Antebellum (Hey Bartender), Linda Ronstadt (You're No Good), Queen (Crazy Little Thing..) Modern English (I Melt With You), Journey (Don't Stop Believin, Faithfully), Stevie Wonder (Superstition), KC and The Sunshine Band (Boogie Shoes), Train (Drops Of Jupiter), REO (Keep On Lovin You), A Taste of Honey, Donna Summers, Commodores. You get the idea. An eclectic mix. We are open but it won't be the typical somgs every band plays. Knockin On Heavens Door, Aint No Sunshine, etc.)
