POSITION TITLE: Construction Laborer/ Dump Truck Driver Job Type: Full-time-40hrs week Pay: $20 hr with advancement opportunities POSITION DESCRIPTION: Laborers assist with construction project work on the jobsite. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards • Load and unload construction materials • Help carpenters and other skilled labor when necessary • Help site superintendents as needed. Carson City, Gardnerville, Dayton etc. • Perform site clean-up • Frequent driving and hauling trailer. • Ability to maneuver and back trailer. • Dump runs as needed. • Minor record keeping. Ex: mileage reports, credit card receipts. • Ready and willing to learn from on-the-job training when necessary • Company truck and trailer provided. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • Be at least 18 years of age • Must be punctual and reliable. • Must possess a valid Driver’s License • Must have good driving record • Must be able to safely operate dump trailer. • Must have knowledge hauling/towing trailers of any size. • Knowledge on vehicle preventative care and maintenance. • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks • Work in all weather conditions • Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds • Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry • Must be a team player and be self-motivated to work independently at times. • OSHA 10/30 Preferred (May make exceptions if applicant is in the process or willing to complete the course)
