We are a nonprofit that focuses on improving patient safety in hospitals. www.hospitalwatchdog.org We are seeking a volunteer videographer to shoot a short video interview with an expert. We are producing a documentary about a case in Tennessee where a former nurse, RaDonda Vaught, was convicted of negligent homicide for inadvertent medication errors. The nursing community and others in the healthcare community oppose the criminalization of accidental medical errors. In our video, we show how the hospital was also at fault and did not have adequate safe medication practices that would have prevented the fatality. If you visit our website, you can see a previous video that we did on a young man with disabilities, JoJo, who was refused care at an ER. The lack of care led to his death.
